FIFA World Cup and the world

Supposedly you are on the way to your office, following that same routine which you do every day. Suddenly you see a crowd gathered at a random corner of the street which you may not have visited for quite some time. There would be a probability that you will walk up to the scene and measure up the surrounding just to get that curiosity over.

When a noob sees people shouting their lungs out in front of a television he/she is almost sure to check it out, the excitement and the screams sure attract anybody. It is Football World Cup!!!

It is happening right now from Croatia win against Argentina that had an upset audience and they started to cry for Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo’s adrenaline rushed 3 goals against Algeria, France registering a thumping victory over Belgium and moving to semifinal and the news of doping for the host i.e. Russia  yes it is going on, the month where you need to want to leave your office early to support your favorite teams, it is the time where your boss, teacher, manager assignments didn’t bother you much but Argentina qualifying match against Nigeria gives you stress and trend penalty shoot outs gives you goosebumps!!

Let’s have a recap, where it began? It all started in 1930 when Uruguay organized the first ever Football world cup, 13 teams participated at that moment of time and Uruguay had beaten Argentina 4-2 in front of a crowd of 68,346 people and became the first nation to win the World Cup. From an attendance of approximately 6 lakhs at that time to 3.2 billion in 2014 and this year the approximation was more than 7 billion. Trillions of fans all over the world and hundreds of players and multiple teams participating in a huge footie family!

Further, few things that people are not aware about this world cup are as follows:

Viewership: More than 50% of the world’s 7.6 billion population watch The Cup and that is 4 billion people worldwide. According to FIFA, this makes the tournament “the world’s most viewed favorite sporting event.”

Splurge on alcohol and food: According to the latest stats over 750,000 liters of beer cans and bottles were sold in stadiums during the World Cup. A whooping number of 390,600 hot dogs have been consumed by the audience at the stadium.

Increased Birth Rates: The Cup caused an increased in the birth rates of the host countries. Nine months after Germany hosted the World Cup in 2006 their country’s birthrate increased to more than 10 percent.

Football is no doubt the world’s most watched and favorite sport. However in this world cup few teams have not only grabbed the eye but also won our hearts. Iceland, that had a world ranking in the 130s four years ago, have now been hovering around the 30 mark. This is their first major tournament, and they are that petit nation so far to be able to make it to any major football finals. They drew with Portugal and Hungary and beat Austria in the group stage. Their country’s population merely is 3 lakhs and most of their players are not regular footballers as well. To add to this strange combination one of their managers is a dentist, their goalkeeper was a film director once upon a time.

Second most astounding team is Croatia. A team that has spurred victory flags against major teams like Argentina, England and many more strong contenders of the cup. This team’s unbelievable journey to finals will be etched in every football lover’s memory specially their penalty shootouts and their defense mechanisms.

The stats had that Brazil and Italy both combined have 9 World Cup titles to their names. One of these two teams has won 45% of the 20 tournaments that were held. Brazil had won the most titles with 5 wins, ranging from 1958 to 2002. The Brazilians have appeared in every World Cup since its inception back in 1930. Italy and Germany has taken home 4 titles thus making them the second most winning country. Their victories range from 1934 to 2014, followed by Argentina and Uruguay with 2 wins each. Those five teams combine to a total of 16 wins.

So if Croatia wins the world cup this time then it will be newest member to join the winners’ club and the 9th country to do so. The spotlight is definitely on Croatia and France in this Final.

Think about your insurance, It's Important!!

Some scholar has said that Health is wealth and all of us like to be healthy, wealthy and wise. However, life is unpredictable and it often throws a curve ball at you and suddenly a normal life style translates into a spree of visits to the healthcare centers, a tedious regime of having medicines and the feeling of anxiety each time the visit is made to the physician. Health hazards are inevitable and in today’s times they lead to some serious outflow of money if a proper health insurance policy is not in place. A good health insurance plan acts as a cover during the difficult times when the raging costs of medical care poses financial crisis towards an individual and his/her family. With stupendous development in the technology, the health care has also advanced to match that, however a good healthcare for all kind of ailments which include the life threatening ones as well isn’t so easily accessible yet. The quality treatments and procedures for complex diseases and are still unaffordable by a major chunk of people.

In order to combat this challenge and to cater healthcare to every individual which is the right of every human being Affordable Care Act popularly known as Obamacare was chalked out and executed in America during Obama administration. It clearly cites the importance of a good and quality treatment given to the citizens irrespective of any caste, creed, and gender or class discrimination. Some of the highlights of the controversial ACA are healthcare with gender discrimination, increased cover for individuals, saving the individuals from the unfair costs incurred by insurance companies, providing the healthcare to kids and to larger states of America etc. The ACA bill has made a strong statement throughout the world for the compelling need of robust and effective health policies to be implemented and it’s more of a State’s affair than an individual’s. In developing countries like India health insurance companies have penetrated the market , however they still have a long way to go , as a major chunk of society that includes the people living at or below the poverty line still are unaware of the importance of health insurance and they do not bother to seek one too. The people that belong to middle class and upper middle class sections have become aware and also they buy the medical cover too. In the nineties era buying a health insurance was more of a rich’s affair and a luxury, however with the advent of unhealthy lifestyle and globalization this has become more of a compulsion now. The ease of cashless benefits, appropriate and timely treatment and the reimbursement of the charges incurred irrespective of one’s financial condition. Uninsured people have higher probability of dying due to poor health results than the people who are insured and have medical covers. The uncertainty of situations have led the employers to give a medical cover to their employees in the circumstances where they or any of their family member gets into a medical problem. The follow up medical provisions also become accessible without any hassle. Health hazards are irrespective of age and apart from casualties there are chronic diseases especially noticed in youngsters these days due to pollution, stress, unbalanced diet and sedentary lifestyle.

Health covers are carefully designed to cater to every age group and patients with exceptional needs as well. Getting a policy done at an early has its benefits in form of low premium costs, less waiting period, better coverage and quick renewal. The government of states have started promoting health covers in order to provide good health care to the citizens under unexpected conditions. To combat medical emergencies and to avail better care at the affordable costs, should be the aim of every health plan worldwide. The private and government companies both have a large market in the health insurance sector. The providers and the companies have direct tie up and this has yielded a convenient channel for the insurers to get everything without any manual intervention.

Health insurance is the major breakthrough in the healthcare industry now-a-days due to uncalled for situations and newer medical conditions. Every individual should rightfully be insured and he/she should do this at an early age and for everyone in the family.

Entertainment Race in the box, who’s gonna win?

by ExpertBlogger 12. June 2016 12:11

You must have surprised with the title "Entertainment Race in the box, who’s gonna win?" what is the race in the box for entertainment , but if you have switch from one to other tv boxes then you must have got an idea that what is I am talking about.

Yes I am talking about the race of TV boxes by many companies out there, currently we have so many different kind of TV streaming box in market and it is just to complicate to choose for the normal non-technical user who has very limited knowledge about apps, resolution and connectivity option they provide and also the limitation of each box, which they realized after buying them. Each and every box has their own pros and cons but we are not going to talk about those there because you can easily go and check their spec side by side on net and find out difference if you get it, Here I am trying put the point is, why these TV boxes has limitation one over other when the technology is available for every company and they know about it. For an instance Roku, Apple Tv and Amazon fire sticks are head to head competition in this category.

Each one has their up’s and down some are good some are bad but every time they comes up new version and old version is just stalls, I can get that they don’t want to release everything at same time and stop their sell on that device instead they release it step by step and keep upgrading version also the software inside this. In my personal experience I had use both the box Roku and Apple Tv.

For just an example let consider Roku, the casting feature is really poor in that, I don’t have any idea that if Apple TV can make real progress in casting functionality then why cannot Roku go and work on casting feature and make their device good. On other hand Apple TV has good casting capabilities but when it comes to app they just way behind and has very limited apps and it just bound you and you start hating.

Sometime I feel that when these companies are working against each other they just have some kind of mutual agreement that they will have monopoly in certain feature so that they could survive in the market side by side, one simple thing is Remote , now why can they just come to an agreement and design some kind of remote which has simpler structure , I don’t want to limit the innovation and ability of devices but come on when it comes to kids and non-technical people who has very limited grasp over the remote and when you handle them apple tv remote they just hate it , why you want to replace the button with touch pad , I get it if someone want it that way they have an option , make to remotes one simple and one super complicated, this is my personal experience my 5 year daughter just struggle with apple tv remote and hate it whereas the remote on Roku was really good for handling , one more is thickness , I know apple is famous for their stick design but , when someone has their remote always sticking inside middle of couch or just goes below rug while dusting then you started thinking that why the hell they made this thing so small , every time I try to find it and it’s a job one of kind.

I am not against the innovation they put in each product and comes up with unique and good ideas but when someone think about these just not only focus of tech oriented folk rather than consider from three year kids to 70 year old how they are going to use this.

On closing node I must say no body gonna win this race of box because each one has important one or another feature and it will always be a personal choice rather than what they offer.

Trendy Trailers & Conjecture Reviews

by SuperUser 4. February 2016 17:09

We have seen many people who are always decide whether to watch movie or not depending on whether they like trailer or did it have good review from people or critics or newspaper or someone else, really cinema need to judge by 2 min trailer or a review from someone who do not even know.

Let’s talk about trailer, if you decide to watch or not to watch cinema depending on the trailer and What if trailer is not good and not make by the person who has created movie and he did bad job or trailer is not reachable or something else then are you going to judge or garbage that film just because trailer is not good? Is the 2 odd hrs. of cinema is entirely get its charm for 2 mins, if the film genre is suspense thriller then film makers really have very less content to show in trailer because they don’t want to give anything in trailer, on other hands if film has good songs then makers put song clips all other trailer. I am not saying trailer is completely wrong but they are meant to give glimpse of cinema not to judge wheatear film is good or bad. Film is good or bad is different for each and every one depending on his or her own personality

Now let’s talk about review, there are many review website, videos, critics who does reviews for all kinds of movie some time they are right some time they are not, Many time reviewers are biased about some actors , director or so called production house, oh! Yes don’t forget about official sponsors they have to talk good about the movie, so whatever reviews you are getting are they right for you. I think they are definitely not because the basic thing which is different in entire mankind is the reaction to the emotions, sense of humor, test of topic and particular the genre of movies. It is not necessary the film or test the reviewer has you have the same, I can tell you many movies which has got bad or worst reviews but I have enjoyed those movies because I like that genre.

I have decided from now onwards if you are really film jerk and want to see some quality movies then please don’t judge the movie from the 2 min trailer or the reviews done by someone who has little bit more knowledge of films than you. It is always relative, it is always personal preference so if you have missed some of the movies because of those less stars then think again you might have missed something which might not be great or good but still you will like it.
